Our take on pasta marinara with chunky tuna and mushrooms.
250 grams spaghetti, cooked according to package direction
¼ cup olive oil
¼ cup minced garlic
1 cup sliced mushroom
2 cups chunky tomato sauce
1 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
2 – 184 grams Century Tuna Chunks in Vegetable Oil, drained
In a heavy bottom pan heat olive oil, sauté garlic, mushrooms and tomatoes. Let simmer until thick. Add tuna, salt and pepper. Lastly add basil leaves and remove from fire.
Pour sauce over pasta. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
